Mozambique to host the Tete International Investment Conference from 8 to 10 October 2026

Official launch of the Tete International Investment Conference, held on 26 May 2026 at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre (CICJC), Maputo.

The Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique to the Kingdom of Sweden announces that the Tete International Investment Conference (CIIT 2026) will be held from October 8 to 10, 2026, at Palácio da Luz in Moatize District, Tete Province, under the theme “Tete on the Investment Horizon: Opportunities for a New Era of Development”.

The Conference aims to showcase Tete Province’s economic potential and investment opportunities and to attract domestic and international investors to strategic sectors, particularly energy, agriculture, mining, tourism, and logistics.

The event was officially launched on 26 May 2026 at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre in Maputo, marking the start of efforts to mobilize investors and partners for this platform for business promotion and economic cooperation.

CIIT 2026 seeks to provide a forum for dialogue and partnership-building, contributing to the development of the province’s resources and productive capacity, job creation, and sustainable development.

In this context, the Embassy invites companies, investors, and institutions from Sweden and the other Nordic countries to explore the opportunities presented by the Conference and consider participating to strengthen economic and business ties with Mozambique.
