A yellow fever certificate may be required depending on the countries you depart from or transit through. Check your full itinerary, including airport stopovers, before travelling.
Requirements can distinguish the traveller’s age, transit duration and medical circumstances. Ask the Embassy to confirm the entry-document requirements for your specific journey, and consult a travel-health professional about vaccination suitability. Do not assume a medical letter automatically replaces an entry certificate.

Prepare before travelling
Book a travel-health consultation in good time. Bring your itinerary and vaccination record. If a certificate is required, confirm when it becomes valid and carry the original International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis.
