The Embassy’s consular desk sees everyone who comes during opening hours, with no appointment needed. You do not have to request a time in order to be seen.
We do recommend booking before you travel to the Embassy. With an appointment you avoid waiting, we can make sure the service you need is available that day, and we can tell you in advance which documents to bring.
📌 Opening hours: the consular desk is open Monday to Friday, 09:30–13:00; the Embassy is open 09:00–16:00. It is closed on Mozambican and Swedish public holidays (see the list of closures alongside).
Three ways to book
ℹ️ Confirmation: when you book by email or using the form, the appointment is only booked once the Embassy has confirmed it. If you do not receive a reply, please call us.
What to bring
- Identification (passport or identity card)
- The documents for the service you need: see the visa or legalisation of documents page
- Proof of payment of the fees, only if the Embassy has already notified you (see fees and payment)

Counted from receipt of the original passport, with prior SENAMI authorisation. The urgent fee does not guarantee immediate issue.
