Visa and legalisation fees

The fees below cover processing of the visa once the Embassy has received the applicant’s original passport, following prior authorisation from the National Migration Service (SENAMI) in Maputo.

The handling times above do not include any prior SENAMI decision or postal transit. Confirm the expected total time with the Embassy before planning your trip. Urgent handling does not guarantee approval.

Returning your passport by post

Postage is charged per shipment, according to the number of passports and the destination.

How to pay

Embassy visa and legalisation fees are paid in Swedish kronor (SEK). Online eTA/e-Visa applications and special consular visits have their own payment instructions.

   Wait for the Embassy’s request for payment

   Embassy visa applications: pay only when the Embassy asks, following SENAMI authorisation where required and receipt of your original passport. Do not post your passport before being asked.

   Legalisation: payment accompanies the document submission, as described in the legalisation guide. Passport and SENAMI requirements do not apply to document legalisation.

   Attach proof of payment

   📌 Proof of payment: if you paid by bank transfer, a copy of the transfer receipt must be attached to the visa application or legalisation request.
