PABSGA delegation visits the Embassy in Stockholm

The International Simulation and Gaming Association conference, ISAGA 2026, took place in Stockholm from 22 to 25 June 2026, under the theme “The Science of Games and Simulation for a World in Systemic Crises”. Specialists from several countries discussed scientific advances and applications of games and simulation in education, research, innovation and development.

Mozambique participated through a delegation from the Pan African Business Simulation Games Association (PABSGA), which paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy on 24 June. The delegation presented the objectives of its conference participation and the initiatives it develops with the Institute of Technologies, Innovation and Services (ITIS) in educational technology, business simulation, digital transformation in higher education and technological entrepreneurship in Africa.

The delegation also described efforts to establish partnerships with ISAGA, ABSEL, SAGSAGA and JASAG, including negotiations on memoranda of understanding to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation and raise the international profile of Mozambican educational and technological innovation.

It reported that the 2027 conference would take place in Japan, organised by JASAG, offering a further opportunity for international cooperation.

The Embassy welcomed the delegation, congratulated it on its participation in ISAGA 2026 and reiterated its readiness to support connections between PABSGA and counterpart institutions in the Nordic countries, promoting innovation, education and technological development in Mozambique.
