Dear Mozambican Community in the Nordic Countries,

We are pleased to inform you that a brigade of the National Migration Service (SENAMI) will be at the Embassy in Stockholm from 8 to 11 October 2026 to collect data for the issuance and renewal of Identity Cards and Passports.

Appointments will take place at the following times:

8 Octoberfrom 14:00 to 18:00;
9 to 11 Octoberfrom 10:00 to 18:00.

All interested persons are asked to confirm their intention to use these services and indicate the date on which they wish to be attended, within the period indicated above.

Please note: the requirements are listed in the leaflet below (in Portuguese). Bring the original documents and the corresponding photocopies.

Requirements for an Identity Card and PassportPDF

Identity Card: birth certificate (or the expired ID card), residence permit or residence visa, fee equivalent to EUR 40 (EUR 30 for under-18s).
Passport: ID card valid for at least 30 more days, expired passport (if any), residence permit or residence visa, two biometric passport photographs, completed application form, fee equivalent to EUR 100.
Under-18s: a declaration of authorisation from one parent, with a photocopy of that parent’s passport or ID card.
ID card and passport can be applied for at the same time. Formal or smart-casual dress is recommended.

Location: Tingsvägen 19, 9th floor, 191 61 Sollentuna. All session times are Stockholm local time. This special service schedule differs from the usual consular hours.

Lost ID card or passport: the leaflet requires a police report translated into Portuguese. Ask the Embassy how to obtain the passport application form and confirm the exact amount, currency and payment method for this visit before paying. The fees above are EUR equivalents.

The leaflet also covers passports due to expire within six months. Read all requirements and contact the Embassy if your circumstances differ from the summary. Do not send identity documents with an initial appointment enquiry unless requested.
